Conveniently located blood draw and urinalysis in Seattle

UW Medicine offers five conveniently-located blood draw labs in Seattle where UW Medicine patients and the broader community who have received physician's orders can have their blood drawn and urine collected for various health tests.

Certified and state-licensed phlebotomists and clinical laboratory technicians collect blood, urine and other fluid samples.

The main lab processes the samples and records the results in the patient's electronic medical record for review by the ordering provider. The provider then communicates the results to the patient.

Why We Charge for Parking

The Washington State Legislature and King County mandates that parking at Harborview be self-supporting. As a King County-owned, state-managed institution, all garages and parking lots on our campus are paid for out of parking revenues. Harborview parking revenues must pay for all repairs, bonds and loans on all parking facilities. Parking revenues are also used to subsidize various Harborview commuter programs and the valet service. According to the state legislature, parking revenues must pay for all these expenses and may not come from other sources.
